About Us

Hello,

My real name is Chuck Clarke.  I have been an avid Snowboarder for 9 years.  I am originally from Northern Wisconsin, but now live in the Rustic Highlands of Cleveland, Ohio. Consequently, I must travel in search of decent hills for my favorite pastime.  I usually ride an alpine board. I race some, G.S. and Slalom.  And have been known to jump on the BX course.

Since I travel a lot during the winter, I needed to bring my tuning tools with when I go to races and ride.  I have built and tried many tuning vises, but was never really satisfied with the way the vises held the snowboard. This site is mainly about the Snowboard tuning vise I have developed.

I am a designer by trade and have worked in the field for many years.  I have designed plastic injection molds, rubber molds, tire molds and treads, machines, valves, well you get the picture...  I work full time as a machine designer, and attend the local university part time. trying to get the old sheep skin.  I make every part of the CJ vise, except bolts and knobs.

I appreciate the time you are taking to view the information presented here. Drop me an e-mail, and let me know what you think of my vise, and the Web Site.
